Dental Implants
Why consider dental implants?
Dental implants are an excellent solution if you have broken, missing or loose teeth. They can be a replacement for several teeth or just one tooth.
A dental implant is effectively a Titanium screw that is placed (implanted) into the jawbone. In a process called osseointegration, your bone then grows onto the implants.
Dental implants help preserve your facial bones whereas conventional dentures usually lead to bone loss and the facial changes associated with ageing. The process is safe, and your new tooth will not only look natural, it will feel and look great, too.

FAQs
Most people who are in good health are able to have dental implants. Your dentist will ensure that you have sufficient quality of and quantity of bone.
You can expect your dental implants to last from 15 to 20 years – often longer if looked after carefully.
What you eat, and having a thorough dental hygiene routine, will make a difference. However, you can expect them to last up to twelve years.
Brushing and flossing as normal (at least twice a day) is the best way to look after your implants and your general oral health.
If the bone has shrunk too much, a sinus lift or bone graft is necessary to place the implants and ensure they have enough support.
